Careers Strategy Forum

26th April 2018, 9-12.30, The Bloomsbury, 16-22 Great Russell Street, WC1B 3NN

Event starts at 9.30am, registration from 8.30am

Central Careers Hub and Prospects Services would like to invite School and College Careers Leaders to a unique free event at the prestigious Bloomsbury Hotel in the heart of Central London on the Careers Strategy, based on the 8 Gatsby Benchmarks. Government’s expectation is that schools and colleges begin to work towards the Benchmarks now and meet them by the end of 2020. So with the release of the Careers Strategy and associated statutory guidance, this event will be a forum for Careers Leaders to:
• Hear impartial comment from Dr Deirdre Hughes OBE on the Careers Strategy
• Listen and ask questions to a panel of Careers Leaders at different stages of achieving the 8 Gatsby Benchmarks from a range of institutions
• Talk to other Careers Leaders during a roundtable, “how are we going to achieve the benchmarks?” session.
• Find out about resources which can help Careers Leaders to achieve the benchmarks and engage the students.
We anticipate a high demand from Careers Leaders for this event, therefore tickets are restricted to Careers Leaders from Schools and Colleges (or a representative from the school, working in the Careers Team, such as the School/College Careers Adviser)
